Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of IntiChat (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. IntiChat contains adult content and is not intended for minors under any circumstances.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for activity under your account, for keeping your credentials safe, and for the accuracy of the information you provide. One person, one account.
3. Subscriptions and billing
- Pro is a recurring subscription billed monthly or yearly via Stripe.
- Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel from Settings → Billing.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access until then.
- Prices, taxes, and fees are shown at checkout. Stripe handles tax compliance where applicable.
- Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to follow our Acceptable Use Policy. Violations may result in suspension or termination without refund.
5. Content
Messages and outputs you generate ("Your Content") are yours, but you grant IntiChat a non-exclusive license to process Your Content as needed to deliver the Service. AI-generated outputs are provided "as is" and may be inaccurate or unrealistic. They are fictional and for entertainment only.
6. Intellectual property
IntiChat, the brand, the companions, the UI, and the underlying software are owned by IntiChat or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial use.
7. Third-party services
The Service integrates with third parties (e.g. Stripe for payments, AI model providers, the Handy device API). Their terms apply to their portions of the experience and we are not responsible for their conduct.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. IntiChat companions are AI characters, not real people, and do not provide professional advice (medical, legal, mental health).
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, IntiChat is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD 50.
10. Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflicts of law principles. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence still apply.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. If changes are material we will notify you. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
